Game rooms in commercial buildings have specific construction requirements that standard office buildout doesn't address. Pool tables need level floors and overhead lighting positioned precisely to eliminate glare. Billiards requires ceiling clearance that many commercial spaces don't have without lowering the table area. Dart boards need defined safety zones that affect the room layout. We plan for all of this before construction starts.

The construction scope for Oakland County corporate game rooms includes reinforced subfloor for heavy game equipment, specialized lighting layouts, sound-absorbing wall and ceiling treatments to contain noise in adjacent office spaces, and dedicated electrical circuits for arcade machines, displays, and audio systems. We design seating areas with commercial furniture and build custom features — shuffleboard alleys, putting greens, custom shelving for game storage — to the dimensions the activity actually requires.

Acoustic separation from adjacent offices is the detail most often overlooked in game room construction. Sound travels through common walls, above ceiling tiles, and through HVAC ductwork. We address all three paths during construction using insulation, resilient channel, and acoustic sealant.
