Commercial Electrical Wiring and Data Infrastructure

Electrical and data infrastructure needs to be designed around your actual furniture plan, not a generic office layout. Outlets in the wrong location mean surge strips running across the floor. Data ports in the wrong location mean cables running visibly along baseboards. We locate every outlet, data port, and lighting fixture based on where your workstations, conference tables, and equipment will actually sit.
The electrical scope for a typical Metro Detroit commercial tenant improvement includes panel distribution, 20-amp dedicated circuits for copiers and break room equipment, LED lighting designed for adequate foot-candles at work surfaces, occupancy sensors, emergency lighting and exit signs on battery backup, and exterior signage circuits. Data infrastructure includes Cat6 or Cat6A cabling from a central telecom closet to every workstation, conference room, and wireless access point location with proper patch panels and cable management.
Our licensed electricians pull commercial permits and schedule inspections through Oakland County building departments. We don't rough in and hope — we submit correct applications, schedule inspections to align with our construction sequence, and address any correction notices immediately. Commercial electrical inspections have specific requirements that differ from residential work, and we know them.
