Seamless Aluminum Gutter Installation with Leaf Guards

Sectional gutters leak at every joint, and joints are also where debris packs and clogs the system. In Michigan winters, a clogged gutter fills with ice and pulls away from the fascia under the weight. We fabricate seamless aluminum gutters on-site using truck-mounted forming equipment — each run is cut to the exact length of the roof edge with no seams except at inside corners and downspout outlets.

We install 5-inch K-style for most residential applications and 6-inch where the roof drainage area warrants it. Pitch gets set for positive drainage toward each downspout. Hidden hanger brackets are screwed into rafter tails — not just the fascia — so the system stays secure under ice and snow loads. Downspouts terminate at splash blocks or run underground to daylight or a dry well away from the foundation.

Leaf guard selection depends on what trees are above your roof. Micro-mesh handles pine needles and fine seeds. Reverse-curve guards work for larger leaf debris. We bring samples and talk through the options based on your specific situation. For homes with chronic ice dam problems, we install self-regulating heated cables through the gutters and along the first several feet of eave — the cables activate based on temperature and moisture, not a timer, so they run only when conditions actually call for it.
