Bars and fireplaces tend to be feature pieces in basement and living room renovations. We build residential bars with a commercial mindset. Proper plumbing with a vented drain, undercounter refrigeration on dedicated circuits, bar top overhangs sized for seating. Cabinetry is built for the humidity and use that bar areas see. The materials hold up because we spec them correctly.
Fireplace work in Southeast Michigan ranges from new gas installations in existing openings to full surround renovations. We work with natural stone, porcelain tile, and custom-built wood mantels. Gas line connections and blower electrical are handled by licensed tradespeople we work with on every job.
Wood-to-gas conversions are a common request in Oakland County. We decommission the damper, install a properly sized gas insert, run the gas line, and finish the surround. The result is a fireplace that actually gets used because it's reliable and easy to operate.
